In 1946, while actor Edward G. Robinson was in his Hollywood heyday, another Edward G. Robinson was fostering his illustrative construction career in Missouri by opening his own plumbing and heating construction company. Ed Robinson’s constant desire to master the inner workings of heating equipment advanced the company’s growth into heavy mechanical construction.
Active in the firm since 1971, Ed’s son, Frank Robinson, has continued our founder’s penchant for growth and innovation. After graduating from college, serving in the U.S. Army Infantry as a First Lieutenant in Vietnam, and upon completion of military duty, Frank returned to Perryville and expanded our service base into underground utilities by adopting the pilot tube system of microtunneling. Frank also developed the company’s reputation for efficient and timely retrofit of heavy manufacturing plants and expanded into providing turnkey design-build of process-driven industrial facilities.
Robinson Mechanical Contractors, Inc. dba Robinson Construction Company was organized as a corporation under the statutes of the State of Missouri on July 25, 1979.
The Robinson family’s dedication is embraced by all our personnel — from managers to laborers and administrative staff — who constantly seek new ways to serve our clients.
Robinson Construction Company currently maintains two office locations. The headquarters is located in Perryville, Missouri and we also have a regional office located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
