Ian Phillips has joined Robinson Construction as an assistant project manager. In this role, Ian is responsible for assisting with essential project management tasks such as managing the project budget, approving invoices, updating project schedules, etc. He also assists the project engineer and project superintendent as requested to help in the overall administration and coordination of assigned projects. Ian is from Cape Girardeau, Missouri and attended Southeast Missouri State University where he earned a B.S. in Construction Management, an A.A.S. in Construction Technology, and B.A.S. in Applied Technology with a minor in Architectural Design. Prior to joining Robinson Construction, Ian spent 5 years working in residential construction specializing in design-build project delivery.

Jake Waits has joined Robinson Construction as a corporate safety representative. In this role, Jake will work closely with our teams to ensure that our safety standards not only meet but exceed industry expectations, helping us maintain our reputation as a leader in the construction industry. “I am thrilled to join a company where safety and teamwork are already deeply ingrained in the work environment," says Jake. "My goal is to continue fostering a positive atmosphere where every employee feels empowered to prioritize safety and support one another on the job." Prior to joining Robinson Construction, Jake gained valuable experience in various safety roles with pipeline and directional drilling contractors, as well as with companies such as Bilfinger and PARIC.

Daniel Fanning has joined Robinson Construction as a project superintendent. In this role, Daniel is responsible for directing and coordinating all jobsite activities on assigned projects. Daniel is from Marion, Indiana and has nearly 20 years’ experience in cold storage and tilt-up concrete construction projects. Prior to joining Robinson Construction, Daniel worked as a superintendent for Controlled Environment Systems.

Alan Huntsman as joined Robinson Construction as a project superintendent. In this role, Alan is responsible for directing and coordinating all jobsite activities on assigned projects. Alan is from Jonesboro, Arkansas and has 30 years' experience in new builds, expansions, and maintenance projects for the paper, energy, and petrochemical industries, among others. He earned an AAS in Industrial Maintenance from Arkansas State University-Newport. The majority of Alan's career, prior to joining Robinson, was spent working as a superintendent for CB&I/Shaw Group.

Melissa Perkins as joined Robinson Construction as a receptionist. In this role, Melissa is responsible for answering the phones, greeting guests, and assisting the Accounting Department with day-to-day transactions. Melissa is originally from Ste. Genevieve, Missouri and has nearly 30 years’ experience working in the construction industry. She attended Jefferson College where she earned an A.A.S. degree in Architectural Drafting / Construction Technology. Prior to joining Robinson, Melissa worked as a truss designer for Builders First Source out of Dallas, TX.

Rachel Gray has joined Robinson Construction as a human resources generalist/recruiter. In this role, Rachel is responsible for searching for qualified candidates, assisting with onboarding, and overall support of the Human Resources Department. Rachel is from Benton, Missouri and has 12+ years’ experience in human resources for various industries. She earned a B.S. in business management and double master’s degree in business & human resources from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. Prior to joining Robinson, Rachel was the human resources manager at Schaefer’s Electrical Enclosures in Scott City, Missouri.

Douglas McDaniel has joined Robinson Construction as an Estimator. In this role, Douglas is responsible for preparing the cost estimates and completing the bidding documents for projects that Robinson pursues. Douglas is from Dover, Delaware and has nearly 8 years’ experience in estimating and 35 years managing construction projects in the heavy industrial, process piping, manufacturing, healthcare, private higher education, and commercial sectors. He apprenticed as a pipe fitter in Delaware and advanced to superintendent before joining the preconstruction department. Prior to joining Robinson Construction, Douglas worked as an estimator for Harris Company and RK Mechanical.

Alissa Elliott has joined Robinson Construction as a project administrative assistant. In this role, Alissa will be responsible for assisting a group of project managers with day-to-day activities. Alissa is from Perryville, Missouri, and prior to joining Robinson Construction, Alissa worked for the Bank of Missouri as a commercial real estate loan processor.

Jeff Babcock has joined Robinson Construction as an on-site project manager. In this role, Jeff is responsible for the overall management and administration of assigned projects, from budget and scheduling to production and completion. Jeff is from Cygnet, Ohio and has 23 years’ experience in the construction industry including all aspects of projects in the chemical, refining, petrochemical, automotive, commercial, food processing, solar, and warehousing sectors. He studied Business Management at Owens Community College. Prior to joining Robinson Construction, Jeff was owner/operator of a diversified specialty construction service firm in Ohio.

Cassie Meyers has joined Robinson Construction as the event coordinator/marketing assistant. In this role, Cassie is responsible for coordination of all company events/sponsorships and providing assistance to the Marketing Department where needed. Cassie is from Troy, Missouri and attended Southeast Missouri State University where she earned her B.S. in Agricultural Communication and Animal Science. Prior to working with Robinson, Cassie worked with Beis Plumbing, LLC in Eureka, MO as the director of marketing and creative design.

Dustin Borden has joined Robinson Construction as a recruiter. In this role, Dustin is responsible for staffing functions such as pipelining, identifying, calling, interviewing, evaluating, and assisting in the selection of qualified candidates for field positions. Dustin is from Perryville, Missouri and recently graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a B.S. in Human Resources Management. Prior to joining Robinson, Dustin worked as a manager at the Dogwood Social House in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Paula Lottes has joined Robinson Construction as a training coordinator/human resources generalist. In this role, Paula is responsible for coordinating required training for all employees, as well as maintaining the learning management system and overseeing the Supervisor and Field Engineer Training Programs. She also arranges and completes onboarding paperwork/process for new hires. Paula is from Perryville, Missouri and attended Southeast Missouri State University where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Prior to joining Robinson Construction, Paula worked for Sam's Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri as a floor team lead.

Carl Wegman has joined Robinson Construction as a senior estimator. In this role, Carl is responsible for preparing the cost estimates and completing the bidding documents for projects that Robinson pursues. Carl is from Aurora, Illinois and has nearly 40 years’ experience in estimating and managing construction projects in the commercial sector. Just prior to joining Robinson, Carl served as president of R.C. Wegman Construction. After 26 years in the role, Carl was fortunate to be bought out by the next generation of his relatives and is thankful and enthusiastic to contribute to the Robinson Team.

Doc Murdock has joined Robinson Construction as an on-site project manager/superintendent. In this role, Doc is responsible for the overall management and administration of assigned projects, from budget and scheduling, to production and completion. Doc is from Clarkrange, Tennessee and has more than 30 years’ experience working in industrial construction and nearly 15 years managing projects. His particular areas of expertise include process piping, structural steel, millwright work and rigging.
