Robinson Construction Company has recently earned status as a RAVS Plus Contractor by ISNetworld (ISN), the global leader in contractor and supplier management.
RAVS (Review and Verification Services) Plus is an audit tool recently implemented by ISN that enables them to determine the validity of questions answered and documentation uploaded into a contractor’s account. To achieve this status, ISNetworld RAVS Plus conducted face-to-face interviews with Robinson field personnel to determine the company’s actual safety practices and ensure that employees have the competencies, training, and qualifications required to perform their specified job duties.
According to Robinson Corporate Safety Director Eugene Besand, “ISN allows us to easily report and update our qualifications with our current ISN clients. It also affords us the opportunity to gain new clients.” Robinson is prequalified with more than 15 clients at nearly 50 different site locations through ISN. ISN currently supports over 550 Hiring Clients and 70,000 contractors and suppliers. Only 2% of those 70,000 contractors have achieved RAVS Plus Contractor status with ISN. “Anyone can click a button or submit a written document that satisfies safety requirements, but what does that prove? Achieving RAVS Plus status is proof that Robinson has a valid safety infrastructure.”
