Robinson Construction Company of Perryville was ranked on Associated Builders and Contractors’ 2022 Top Performers list, ranks its commercial and industrial contractor members that build long-lasting high quality construction projects, based on work hours. Robinson was ranked No. 78 on the Top 200 Performers list, No. 43 on the Top 125 General Contractors list, and No. 19 on the Top Performers by Market-Top Military Contractors list.

As an ABC Top Performer, Robinson Construction demonstrated world-class safety performance by achieving Diamond STEP level in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System, which makes the top-performing contractors more than six times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average, according to ABC’s Safety Performance Report.

The listings highlight contractors that have earned ABC’s Accredited Quality Contractor credential for their commitment to corporate responsibility in quality, safety, talent management—including inclusion, diversity and equity—education and community relations; those that won national Excellence in Construction,® Safety Excellence and Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Excellence awards; and those that hold designations awarded to diverse companies to help procure work from government and private entities.

Robinson Construction Company is pleased to announce the recent additions of new employees at their main office in Perryville, Missouri.

Tyler Monier has joined Robinson Construction as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT). In this role, Tyler is responsible for providing engineering support, including detailing and drafting, as well as review of structural steel, pre-engineered buildings, anchor bolts, and concrete reinforcing shop drawings. Tyler is from Perryville, Missouri and attended Missouri University of Science and Technology where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Civil Engineering. Tyler has previously worked a few different internships with Robinson Construction throughout the summer and on winter breaks.

Ryan Hannan has joined Robinson Construction has a project manager. In this role, Ryan is responsible for the overall management and administration of assigned projects, from budget and scheduling, to production and completion. Ryan is from Anna, Illinois and has fifteen years’ experience in heavy civil construction working on locks and dams on the Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee Rivers.

Smith Achieves STSC

Patrick Smith, field engineer for Robinson Construction, has completed the requirements for national certification as a Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC). The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) awards this certification to individuals who meet the rigorous experience and education requirements, including passing a comprehensive examination. The examination covers the body of knowledge supervisors must have to carry-out their safety-related supervisory responsibilities. The STSC certification is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies. Those who earn the STSC Certification are recognized as having met demanding, peer-established competency requirements in supervision. A STSC must recertify every five years to maintain this certification. The STSC certification program is operated by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). Established in 1969, BCSP has nationally recognized credentials in the safety, health, and environment accredited professional and para-professional certifications.
