PERRYVILLE, MO, September 10, 2024 - Robinson Construction Company is proud to announce that Dustin Hall, superintendent, has earned the prestigious Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Dustin has consistently demonstrated his dedication to safety and leadership on the job site. The CHST certification is a significant achievement that recognizes individuals who demonstrate a strong understanding of construction safety protocols, regulations, and risk management practices. This certification further validates Dustin’s commitment to maintaining a safe working environment while overseeing major construction projects.

Dustin joined Robinson in 2017 and over the years, he has been an integral part of the company’s successful projects, including large-scale industrial installations and safety-critical construction tasks.

"Safety is paramount on every project, and Dustin's achievement of the CHST certification highlights his leadership and ongoing dedication to improving safety standards across our projects," said Nicholas Moore, corporate safety manager at Robinson Construction Company.

In addition to his CHST certification, Dustin holds various other safety qualifications, including Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction (STSC) certification, OSHA 30-hour training, and NCCCO Certified Crane Operator credentials.

On-site Safety Representative Dylan Copas, recently obtained the Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). The CHST is designed for individuals who demonstrate competency and work part-time or full-time in health and safety activities devoted to the prevention of construction illnesses and injuries. You must also have 3 years of experience in construction health or safety. Congratulations to Dylan for obtaining this certification!

Eugene Besand, Corporate Safety Director for Robinson Construction, has completed all requirements for the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Certification. This highly respected certification is awarded by BCSP to individuals who meet eligibility criteria and experience in the safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) discipline, and have passed an examination.

Safety issues have become more complex and today’s safety professional must continually be better qualified. BCSP credential holders are among the most highly trained, educated, and experienced individuals in the safety field. Having achieved a BCSP certification shows that the individual has mastered the core competency required for professional safety practice. BCSP’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Turnbeaugh, CSP, CET, comments that “It is critical to maintain competent individuals within the SH&E industry because of the impact they have on the safety of workers and the public.” A certificant must re-certify every five years to maintain a certification.
