We are so proud of our employees who refrained from haircuts & shaving during the entire month of November to bring awareness to cancer prevention and raise over $1700 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!

Robinson Construction Company and many of our employees are active in several community and charitable organizations. Recently, more than 30 of our team members participated in No-Shave November, helping raise more than $1,900 in the fight against cancer. Some participated by growing their hair and not shaving or grooming for the entire month of November, while others participated through monetary donations and company match. Frank Robinson, President of Robinson Construction, is thrilled by this achievement. “This is the first year we attempted this with our office staff and I am extremely proud and thankful to be part of such an amazing and giving team. Whatever the cause, our employees always step up to the plate.”

According to no-shave.org, the purpose of No-Shave November is to grow awareness for cancer by embracing your hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow. The money you would usually spend on shaving and grooming for a month is donated and used to educate about cancer prevention and aid those fighting the battle. For each Robinson Construction employee who elected to participate by not shaving/grooming and made it through the entire month of November, the company agreed to make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Those who elected to participate, but did not make it through the entire month were asked to make a personal contribution and any personal contributions were also matched by the company.
