Robinson Construction Company, Perryville, Missouri, today announced it ranks 96 on Associated Builders and Contractors’ 2025 Top 250 Performers list and 48 on the Top 170 General Contractors list, an annual publication that recognizes the associations’ contractor members’ outstanding achievements in safety, quality, merit, project excellence and special designations ranked by number of hours worked.

As an ABC Top Performer, Robinson Construction Company achieved Gold status or higher in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System,® which helps industry-leading contractors achieve incident rates nearly six times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average, according to ABC’s Safety Performance Report. Robinson Construction also earned ABC’s Accredited Quality Contractor credential, which recognizes excellence in quality, safety performance, talent management—including inclusion, diversity and merit—craft and management education and community relations.

PERRYVILLE, MO, October 30, 2024 - Robinson Construction Company of Perryville, Missouri today announced that it has again been named an Accredited Quality Contractor by Associated Builders and Contractors. This is the 6th year Robinson Construction has earned the prestigious credential for its commitment to corporate responsibility. Only 525 of the nation’s elite merit shop construction contractors earned the credential in 2023.

Launched more than three decades ago, ABC’s AQC credential provides recognition to industry-leading construction firms that have documented their commitment in five areas:

Health and safety performance
Talent management, including inclusion, diversity and merit

Robinson Construction of Perryville, Missouri today announced that its status as an Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) has been renewed by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) for another year.

According to Robinson President Paul Findlay, “We are honored to have been selected once again to receive this certification from the Associated Builders and Contractors. Robinson Construction Company has received an Excellence in Construction (EIC) Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Heart of America Chapter for their work on the Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial project in Perryville, Missouri. The award was presented at the ABC Heart of America Chapter Annual Banquet that was held on Thursday, November 7, in Kansas City, MO.

The Excellence in Construction awards program is the industry’s leading competition, developed to honor innovative and high-quality Merit Shop construction projects. The award honors all construction team members, including the contractor, owner, architect and engineer. The winning projects, selected from entries submitted from across Missouri and Kansas, are judged on complexity, attractiveness, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, safety and cost.

Robinson was also presented with their 14th Platinum Level Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) award at the annual banquet. The STEP program recognizes construction companies’ ongoing efforts and commitment to jobsite safety and consistent application of a quality safety program.
