Mining
Having served a variety of clients in the mining industry and with our extensive capabilities in building construction, design and installation of material storage and handling systems, installation of process equipment, etc., we are certainly an excellent candidate for completing projects on mining sites; however, even when working above-ground, all work on a mine site is overseen by the Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA). With over 70 percent of our employees MSHA trained and certified, as well as having an in-house MSHA instructor, we are able to quickly provide a diversified crew with the knowledge to operate safely and productively, both on the surface and underground, at a variety of mining facilities. Our crews have safely and efficiently provided surface and underground construction services for cement, lime, clay, lead, coal, and stone/silica sand mining facilities. Additionally, MSHA honored Robinson’s dedication to working safe by presenting us with the Inaugural Thomas M. Drury award, an award that honors independent contractors who have displayed exemplary safety and health performance while working on mine sites.
